Who runs this site

This studio is operated by Varun Vashisht, a sole practitioner offering boutique IT consulting services and downloadable digital products. Contact: varun.vashisht@live.com.

What data the site collects

The studio collects only what it needs to function and to honour a paid order. In practice that is the following.

• Cart data. When you add an item to the cart, a small cart record is written to your browser's local storage and mirrored to a Cloudflare KV store so the cart survives across devices. The KV record is keyed by an opaque session identifier, not your email.
• Checkout details. If you complete checkout, the order record stores your email address, order line items, total, currency, and order status. No card data is stored on this site (payment processing is handled by the payment provider).
• Contact form. If you send a message via the contact form, the name, email, organisation, and message text are stored to allow a reply and to keep an audit trail of enquiries.
• Server logs. Cloudflare records standard request logs (IP, user agent, timestamp, path) for security and abuse prevention. These logs are retained per Cloudflare's defaults and are not used for marketing.

No tracking pixels, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics scripts run on this site.

Why the data is collected

• To fulfil orders you place and provide download access to digital products you have purchased.
• To reply to messages you send through the contact form.
• To protect the site from abuse, fraud, and excessive automated traffic.

Your information is not sold or shared with third parties for marketing.

Third-party processors

• Cloudflare. Hosts the site, stores cart and order data in KV and D1, and provides edge caching plus DDoS protection.
• Resend. Delivers transactional email (order confirmations, receipts, contact replies). Only the recipient email address and message content are passed to Resend.
• Payment provider. Handles payment processing for paid orders. The studio receives only the order status and a reference identifier from the payment provider, never card numbers.

How long data is kept

• Cart records expire automatically after 30 days of inactivity.
• Order records and contact-form submissions are kept for as long as the engagement or relationship is live, plus six years for tax and audit purposes.
• Server logs follow Cloudflare's retention defaults (currently 7 days for raw logs, longer for aggregates).

Your rights

You can ask, at any time, for a copy of the data the site holds about you, for corrections, or for deletion of records that are no longer needed to honour a paid order or to meet a legal obligation. Email varun.vashisht@live.com with the subject "Privacy request".

Changes to this notice

If this notice changes, the updated date at the top of the page changes too. Material changes will also be flagged at the top of the page for at least 30 days.
